It was a great day for Aijah & Emily at their very first charity lemonade stand. With nearly 100 people coming out, just over $800 in donations bringing the total to just over $1,600 with the matching efforts of CN Rail and a number of local businesses donating baking goods, the girls are more than happy with the support from the community and the way things turned out. With the success of the lemonade stand and the great cause it stands for, children helping children and The Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan the story has gathered interest around town and has been featured in a number of media outlets in Prince Albert. Thanks again to everyone who made it out to support the cause and a big thanks to all the local businesses who donated baking, including Shananigan's, Bison Café, Dr. Java's and The Carlton Bakery.
The girls are already thinking about how to make the event bigger and better next year! See you there.
